Raph Levien graciously wrote a synthesizer for Android that plays the sounds in these sysex files. After playing around with it, I got curious about the sounds that could be found. I googled around and gathered a few hundred sysex files. Since each file contains 32 different sounds this gave me around 7,000 different sounds to explore!
I enjoyed exploring them and thought others would as well, so I put together this application that uses familiar tunes to showcase the sounds in the sysex files I found.
So if this sounds intriguing, than install it, sit back - and tweak some tunes!
